International Game Technology has announced David Flinn has joined the Company as executive director and general manager for IGT Canada.

Flinn comes to IGT from Atlantic Lottery where he served most recently as executive vice president of new business development. In this position, he was responsible for expanding the Atlantic Lottery’s commercial reach beyond Atlantic Canada as well as helping to chart corporate direction. Flinn also served as vice president of sales for Atlantic Lottery and was responsible for the entire sales and service network, which included $1 billion in sales and 200 employees encompassing sales, sales support and customer care.

Prior to Atlantic Lottery, Flinn was the director of sales for lottery markets for Spielo. While in this position, he managed and led an international sales force and had direct oversight for key accounts in the distributed VLT lottery and casino space.

Flinn replaces Duane Frahm who will be retiring later in 2011 after 21 years with IGT. Frahm has served as the Company’s managing director for its Canadian team since 2005.
