The Enoch Entertainment Resort is described as being, “a full-service, state-of-the-art gaming, hotel and entertainment establishment located on the outskirts of Edmonton, Alberta at the Enoch Cree Nation reserve.” Furthermore the project is meant to be a one stop facility with all the amenities at arm’s reach. Including a four star hotel, casino with table games and slot machines, Paragon has increased the experience by offering services that one may perhaps not expect to see such as the state of the art indoor sports facility.
In September 2006, Paragon Gaming successfully acquired the Edgewater Casino in downtown Vancouver. The procurement of the new addition exhibits Paragon’s vision to strategically develop and solidify their presence in the western gaming markets. With the Edgewater property, Paragon hopes to become the premier entertainment destination for the Greater Vancouver Area. The idea is to recreate the feel and atmosphere of a Las Vegas style casino by introducing changes such as, “a brand new full service restaurant adjoined to the casino, an expanded selection of table games, a new 12 table poker room, a newly built rotunda coffee bar located on the casino floor, a renovated showroom for additional entertainment, and various signage and walkway improvements within the interior and exterior of the building.”
Opening late 2007, the Eagle River Casino and Travel Plaza contains all that one may expect from a full service gaming facility. However Paragon, as it does in each of its casinos, has something a little different to entice the customer whether they come for the gaming, the entertainment value or the services provided. While offering the standard bar, lounge, restaurants and the rest Eagle River also provides customers with a convenience store a gas bar, and a card lock truck stop.
As Paragon grows, they continue to identify opportunities existing within emerging markets and strive to stay on the cutting edge by exposing new business markets. The ultimate goal is to establish a strong competitive position in those markets by continuing to assemble experienced management teams focused on driving successful projects as operators.
